Witajcie.

Mam maszynkę HP PROLIANT ML 359 G4 z pięcioma dyskami 80GB spiętymi w RAID 5. Próbuję zainstalować na tym Slackware 14.1, lecz niestety cfdisk nie wykrywa dysku. Uprzejmie proszę o pomoc - gdzie szukać problemu...

Z tego co widzę działa, a urządzenie nazywa się /dev/cciss/c0d0 (na tym robisz fdisk). Partycje będą się nazywać c0d0p0, c0d0p1, itd.

Na ogół macierze emulują zwykłe dyski SCSI (czyli kolejne wolumeny logiczne RAID-a sprzętowego są widoczne jako /dev/sda, /dev/sdb, itd). Ale niektóre RAID-y niestety zakładają własną hierarchię urządzeń i pomoże tylko uważne prześledzenie dmesg-a.
