Jestem posiadaczem polskiego modemu Goramo BPH PLUS, modem jest zewnetrzny i podpinany pod COM1 (RS-232)... w windowsie XP aby funkcjonowal to musze zainstalowac kabel komunikacyjny i sterowniki direct connection i ustawic port na 115kb/s, a laczac sie uzywalem Dial-Up jako numer telefonu dawalem obojetnie jaka liczbe a login i haslo zostawalo puste.. poprostu modem na linie dzierzawiona... Problem w tym ze nie mam pojecia co zrobic w Knoppixie 3.6 lub na 4.0 !? probowalem uzyc KPPP ale cosik nie odpala, pisze ze modem gotowy ,a przy inicjalizacji modemu laczenie stoi, ustawilem w KPPP transfer na 115.2 ale dalej nic .... Moze ma ktos jakies propozycje ???? Juz probowalem na Ubuntu LiveCD i SuSe LiveCD, ale jakos knoppix najbardizej do mnei trafia tyle ze i tak nie umiem tego modemu ustawic :( z gory dzieki za pomoc

mam pytanko: czy to co widac w konsoli po wydaniu komendy dmesg zalezy od pakietu w którym /bin/dmesg sie znajduje czy od kernela? no bo mam taki problem w mandraku 10.1 po włozeniu karty sieciowej do usb i wpisaniu dmesg dostaje komunikat o błedach :

a natomiast w mandraku 10.2 limited edition 2005 wszystko jest ok i moge bez problemu skonfigurowac karte sieciową. No i chodzi mi o to ze jeśli to wina pliku dmesg to moze jakby była ta sama wersja co w le 2005 to by było spoko i mógł bym sobie ustawic neta w Mandrake 10.1 pozdrawiam

Zdecydowanie dmesg nie ma tutaj nic do gadania. Wina lezy po stronie niepasujacego firmware. Skopuje to z drugiej mandaryny!
