sterownik NVIDIA 180.22 - nie uruchamia się KDE

Witam,
Po instalacji sterownika NVIDIA 180.22 przy próbie uruchomienia KDE poleceniem startx
wywala okienko z napisem "startkde: Could not start kdeinit. Check your installation." i KDE się nie uruchamia.
Terminal zwraca takie błędy:

Dodam iż dzieje się to na kernelu 2.6.27.10 jak i 2.6.28.2

Może ma ktoś pomysł dlaczego tak się dzieje? Bo ja już nie mam pomysłów na to.

Dodam ze dystrybucja to Slackware 12.2.
