Zainstalowałem sobie wg metody 1 sterowniki ATI z tego tematu: http://forum.ubuntu.pl/viewtopic.php?t=16229
Ale ponieważ mnie korciło wziąłem metodę 2. Od momentu zainstalowania metodą 2 glxgears fps powiększyły mi się o ok. 2700 fps sec. Wiem to nie jest benchmark. Ale jest druga strona medalu. Tak naprawdę pogorszyły się wszystkie osiągi, nawet głupie wygaszacze ekranu strasznie mulą. Fatalnie się pogorszyły osiągi, czemu?

Sprawdz czy laduje sie modul fglrx i co podaje fglrxinfo.

Jaka jest Twoja karta graficzna? Zastanawiałeś się nad otwartymi sterownikami? Do czego potrzebujesz tych zamkniętych?

Na otwartych nie działa akceleracja 3D na mojej karcie graf. (X700).Potrzebuje zamkniętych. No fglrx chyba się ładuje skoro w xorg.conf mam:

Czemu się ta wydajność drastycznie zmieniejszyła po zainstalowaniu najnowszych sterów? Może konfiguruje się jakoś jeszcze oprócz aticonfig?

Więc? Czemu obniżyły się osiągi? Tylko glxgears poprawiło się o jakieś 2700 fps (wiem! to nie benchmark) a reszta drastycznie pogorszyła, że wygaszacz ekranu na fullscreen się tnie dość bardzo:/
