  Ten system jest prawie sprawny. Wcale nieczęsto się widzi tak zdrowe komunikaty kernela. Jeśli Ci się nie chce , to włącz mu instalatora i każ mu uaktualnić, jest szansa że się samo poprawi. Mi to ciągle wygląda na problem ze swapem. Jest to łatwe do poprawienia, ale trzeba chcieć.
Gnome samo się przedstawia przy starcie i podaje nr wersji.

Mi się takie jaja z X\\'ami robiły przy konfiguracji xorg7+kernel2.6.16+nvidia-8756. Jesli działasz na sterownikach od nvidii to sprawdź czy sie zwiesza na zwykłym \\"nv\\".

Ammm, z Linuksem od 2 miesięcy a już mam podobny problem (Kubuntu 6.06 lts z kernelem 2.6.15.28, może tu pies pogrzebany). Raz wszystko działa bez zarzutu a raz po kilku minutach system \\"zamiera\\" - działa tylko to, co zostało wcześniej odpalone np. terminal, firestarter, firefox, kate, konqueror i nie mam możliwości odpalenia niczego ponad w/w. Przy \\"top\\'owaniu\\" nie widzę nic niepokojącego, przeważnie (po 15 min) firestarter ma udział 8% cpu i 5% mem; xorg 0.8% cpu i 7.5% mem; firefox 5.5% cpu i 28% mem; konsola 0.2% cpu i 5% mem; reszta zupełnie niegroźna, nie przekracza ani w cpu ani w mem 1%. System raz radzi sobie przez kilka dni i prawie nie ruszy swapa a ram w granicach 50% żeby po \\"x\\" logowaniu \\"podwiesić\\" się zaraz po starcie... Z ciekawości wrzuciłem sobie boot-up managera, wyłączyłem kilkanaście zbędnych opcji (acpi support, apdm, bluez-utils, bootlogd, cupsys, hotkey-setup, hplip, laptop-mode, rsync, 915resolution, sysklogd, clamavfreshclam (pozostałość po clamie), fuse, cron) zostawiając: acpid, sysklogd, klogd, dbus, ppp, makedev, nvidia-kernel, powernowd, postfix, firestarter, mdadm, anacron, atd, usplash, kdm. Teraz system pracuje kilka godzin i \\"free -m\\" wyrzuca wolnego ramu 145/256 mb a swapa 348/525 mb. wg mnie w miare dobrze biorąc pod uwagę fakt, iż mam odpalone: konsola, kate, arkusz z open office, wireless assistant, konqueror x2, firestarter, system monitor i firefox z 3 zakładkami (pamięć podręczna 8 mb) i ew. amarok. Może dodam, że system został spolszczony i wciąż jest aktualizowany ale wątpię aby miało to wpływ na wydajność. Jedyne co mnie martwi to wolne miejsce na linuchowej partycji, obecnie to tylko 458 mb z czego widocznych jest de facto 265 mb ale nic nie mogę z tym zrobić, może za kilka miesięcy wygospodaruję troszeczkę więcej miejsca.

Zapomniałem dodać, mam przy starcie automatycznie montowany dysk ntfs z prawem do odczytu 28 gb - włączałem / wyłączałem przy starcie, wg mnie efekt ten sam.

Blaszak: procesor celeron 1.7 ghz - 256 mb ram (sprawna kość w 100%) - GeForce 5200 64 mb (sterowniki poprawnie zainstalowane) - dysk 40 gb (3.8 gb na \\"/\\" oraz 525 mb na \\"swap\\" - reszta win na ntfs - przeskanowany w poszukiwaniu błędów, czysty jak łza chociaż ma już swoje lata) - sb live 5.1 z alsą - sieć wifi bezproblemowo.

Proszę o sugestie bo choć problem nie należy do tych, z którymi to żyć się nie da ale na dłuższą metę ctrl + alt + backspace itp. chwyty stają się nieco uciążliwe. Z góry dzięki!

Na koniec /var/log/messages z ostatnich dni, trochę tego tu się nazbierało...

Z ciekawości wrzuciłem sobie boot-up managera, wyłączyłem kilkanaście zbędnych opcji (acpi support, apdm, bluez-utils, bootlogd, cupsys, hotkey-setup, hplip, laptop-mode, rsync, 915resolution, sysklogd, clamavfreshclam (pozostałość po clamie), fuse, cron) zostawiając: acpid, sysklogd, klogd, dbus, ppp, makedev, nvidia-kernel, powernowd, postfix, firestarter, mdadm, anacron, atd, usplash, kdm. Teraz system pracuje kilka godzin i \\"free -m\\" wyrzuca wolnego ramu 145/256 mb a swapa 348/525 mb. wg mnie w miare dobrze biorąc pod uwagę fakt, iż mam odpalone: konsola, kate, arkusz z open office, wireless assistant, konqueror x2, firestarter, system monitor i firefox z 3 zakładkami (pamięć podręczna 8 mb) i ew. amarok. Może dodam, że system został spolszczony i wciąż jest aktualizowany ale wątpię aby miało to wpływ na wydajność. Jedyne co mnie martwi to wolne miejsce na linuchowej partycji, obecnie to tylko 458 mb z czego widocznych jest de facto 265 mb ale nic nie mogę z tym zrobić, może za kilka miesięcy wygospodaruję troszeczkę więcej miejsca.<<<

Może dodam jeszcze do mojej poprzedniej wypowiedzi, że pozwoliłem sobie wyrzucić stare kernele ważące ponad 150 mb. Jak na razie strat nadzwyczajnych spowodowanych tym posunięciem nie odnotowano :P Teraz na \\"/\\" mam około 800 mb / 3.8 gb (przesunę na jakieś 8 gb), planowanie utworzenie osobnego \\"/home\\" na 2.5 gb oraz około 2 gb na fat32 w celu wymiany plików między lin a win - nie ryzykuję jak na razie zapisu na ntfs. Pozdrawiam.

No tak tylko, ze ja instaluje sobie kubuntu dzialam na nim, wylaczam kompa, wlaczam na nowo, znowu na nim dzialam, znowu wylaczam i wlaczam ponownie rano i system sie juz nie laduje. reinstaluje znowu dwa razy sie uruchomi i za 3 razem umiera. Kubuntu jest troche niedopracowane juz o niejednym takim przypadku slyszalem:D

Otóż udało mi się ustalic że serwer przyjmuje pocztę z adresu lokalnego i z adresu zewnetrzengo. Moge przesylac poczte wewnatrz. Ale nie moge nic wyslac na zewnatrz.
Zaznacze jeszcze raz ze mam ROUTER przed serwerem na ktorym jest NAT port tcp/25 jest przepuszczany wiec nie wiem czemu postfix wywala takie bledy :

## oznaczają że tak ma w sumie chodzić serwer ale ponieważ nie działał zbyt dobrze to część wywaliłem i chcę żeby chodził na ustawieniach domyślnych żeby zobaczyć czy wogóle ruszy

ok przepuściłeś port 25 z internetu do siebie , a nie zablokowałeś czasem wyjścia od siebie na port 25 do internetu ?

Nie podejrzewam ponieważ :

1) Na Routerze jest cały czas ruch puszczony w jednym kierunku bez żadnych blokad - BTW nawet nie wiem jak na tym speedtouch-u zablokować jakiś port wychodzący ;) ale to inna bajka

2) Jak sie telnetuje z serwera na onet to mi odpowiada

ale twój postfix atakuje port 25 hosta onet.pl a nie poczta.onet.pl ;]
coś z dns , resolverem itp może , bo pewnie nie masz nic  z tym NISem naćkane w main.cf ?

niestety to nie działa :/

nadal nie moge wyslac poczty bo odpytuje mi hosta A a nie MX hosta :/
