Problem prawdopodobie sprzetowy "zawieszki Xów"

Ohayo ludzie, jest taki kiepski Joke: Posiadam SuSe(ł) 9.3 z strony http://packman.links2linux.org/ pościągałem rpm, które wymagał xine podczas istalacji, na wersje i586. I Joke polega natym że jak jest karta dzwiękowa to po wczytaniu filmu przez totem lub gxine przestaje działać - zamyka okno z programem, a jak niema karty to DZIAŁA..... więc ludzie doinformujcie mnie oco chodzi ? :) bo ja już wysiadam :) mam jeszcze dystrybucje dyne:bolic i tam otwiera bez problemu.

Witam
Mam problem w części podobny do "amazis'a". Korzystam z KDE 3.4 na Slackware 10.2 kernel 2.6.14.3. X zawieszaja sie w nieoczekiwanych momentach, wcześniej zawis był kompletny i totalna utrata panowania nad system, teraz wylatuja tylko X'y ale konsola jeszcze śmiga, ale nie ma możliwości ponownego załadowania (NAWET PO REBOOTcie) pomaga całkowite wyłączenie i start od zera. Zwiechy są w jakimś stopniu powiazane z siecią bo dopóki nie korzystalem z sieci nigdy sie nie pojawiały. Wyglada to tak ze najpierw pojawiają sie małe prążki na nagłówkach okien i na pasku kursora w rozwijanych menu, po jakims czasie cały ekran dostaje pionowych kolorowych prążków (nie zawsze zawis jest poprzedzony prążkami na oknach). Dzieje sie to na kazdej przegladarce od firefoxów po mozille i konquerora. Sprawdzilem juz 3 sieciówki i problem nadal ten sam, pamieci przeskanowane memtestem i dysk czyściutki.
Aby nie rozwodzić sie na czym pracuje załączam zrzut dmesg'a i lshw'a

Nie podales loga z X-ów... A w tej kwestii on i komunikaty z czasu zwiech w /var/log/messages są znaczące.

w logu messages nie ma śladów po tych awariach jedyne co sie poprawia to scany dysku po hard resetach

log z Xorga załącze jak tylko znow pojawi sie zwiecha bo jak narazie jest nadpisany

"Walniety" modul karty graficznej lub przegrzewa Ci sie karta graficzna. Przegrzewac sie moze rowniez z powodu "walnietego modulu...
Z tego co widze masz grafike intela, 82810. a ja kojarze grafikę intela 8xx głównie z problemami ;-)

Wylacz framebuffer (man lilo.conf)
1. sprobuj na sterowniku vesa, zobacz czy bedzie to samo. Dowiesz sie czy to karta czy modul.
2. Jesli modul to daj znac cos pomyslimy, jesli karta to sprawdz chlodzenie ewentualnie zaloz jakies jesli takowego nie ma.

zastanawiam się czy może to być spowodowane przegrzanym procesorem, bo w tym kompaku był jedynie radiator dolożyłem do niego wiatrak ale procesor nie był juz wymieniony.
a może rzeczywiście padnięta jest juz lekko grafika?

Miałam identyczne objawy ("prążki" i brak reakcji systemu), tyle, że za czasu kiedy używałam windowsa. Skończyło się na zakupie nowej grafiki :/

A zmieniles sterownik na vesa?
Jakosc sterownikow i8xx w trybie akceleracji, - a takowa masz wlaczona co wynika z logów jakie podales - naprawde jest srednio kiepska, nie wspomne juz o tym ze intelowi zdarzalo sie puszczac "zaburaczone" sprzetowo chipy graficzne, nie pamietam ktore dokladnie, ale ktores wczesniejsze czyli serii 81x

Wyłączenie framebufera nic nie da bo odnosi się on jedynie do trybu tekstowego. Wyraźnie wspomniane jest iż dzieje się to w trakcie pracy w X'ach. Jeżeli już zmiana sterownika to tego ładowanego w trakcie uruchamiani xorg.

Moim zdaniem jest to wina przegrzewającej się karty graficznej. Jak masz możliwość użycia innej karty to takową załaduj i zobacz czy coś takiego dalej będzie się działo.

Prawdopodobnie jak to zostało już wyżej napisane skończy sie na kupnie nowej karty, bądź jej wymianie jeżeli masz jeszcze gwarancję...

wrzucam jeszcze dla pewnosci log z Xorga tuz po zawieszce, ale chyba sprawa jest juz przesądzona, szkoda tylko ze grafika jest zintegrowana z plyta :(

Jezior przepraszam za roztargnienie jest juz vesa, ale wyglada to jakbym miał włącząny tryb dla inwalidy 640x480 na 19'' :, da sie wycisnąć wiecej własnie na vesie?
I jeszcze jedno pytanko, widzialem jeszcze jeden sterownik "standardowy" w xorgu "generic vga" sądzisz ze ten drugi też można przetestować?

Dziekuje Wszystkm za zainteresowanie sie tym topic'iem
pozdrawiam i tastuje dalej...

Da sie wycisnac wiecej.
Powinien 1024x768@60Hz a to ze masz "inwalidy 640x480 na 19'' " swiadczy o tym ze masz cos pokopane w xorg.conf, najprawdopodobniej "video modes"

Zrob mniej wiecej tak, bo nie mam pojecia jak wyglada Twoj xorg.conf:
