Jeżeli czytałem "na GitHub-ie", to wersja 7-dma, też "nie wspiera", ale jeżeli wskażecie łatwiejszą drogę od kompilacji ( Makefile odmawiał), to zaryzykuję nawet potrzebą przeinstalowania "tej" Fedory.

Hmmm.... Nie nie zrobiłeś dobrze. Zrobiłeś bardzo źle, a usunięty katalog nie jest tożsamy z tym, który utworzyłeś. Kto Ci w ogóle powiedział, że możesz dokonywać jakiejkolwiek czynności na plikach i katalogach nienależących do zwykłego użytkownika, gdy nie wiesz co robisz?

Po pierwsze, to poszukaj, czy takiej paczki ktoś nie zrobił. Jeśli nie - to sposób instalacji przedstawiony jest tutaj: https://catalin-festila.blogspot.com/2017/09/fedora-26-using-huion-giano-wh1409.html (tyle, że obecna wersja to 7, choć to, przy sposobie tworzenia tej paczki nie ma znaczenia). Wpierw będziesz musiał jednak przeinstalować sobie kernel i pliki nagłówkowe, bo właśnie je spieprzyłeś.
