Ścieżka jest trochę dziwna ponieważ taka lokalizacja :D
Po uruchomieniu był czarny ekran i miałem do wyboru otworzyć konsolę albo wyjść.

Bo musisz uruchomic gre z miejsca w ktorym jest plik z gra.

W terminalu/konsoli przechodzisz do katalogu w ten sposob
cd /home/piotrek/Gry/Xonotic/
Komenda pwd sprawdzisz w ktorym miejscu/katalogu w terminalu aktualnie sie znajdujesz
[.@localhost Xonotic]$ pwd
/home/./GRY/Xonotic
Fragment gry uruchomisz z niewlasciwego miejsca

Ale to szczegol , tak tylko informuje.
A tak sie dzieje, poniewaz ten plik gry laduje swoje biblioteki tylko wtedy gdy
jest uruchamiany w tym katalogu,
uruchomienie gry np. przez skrypt "xonotic-linux-glx.sh" rozwiazuje ta niespodzianke, ale czy force... zadziala ze skryptem to nie wiem.

Ja jestem jeszcze w trakcie sprawdzania, a ty sprawdz gdy gre uruchomisz
bezposrednio z katalogu gry,
sprawdz wszystkie mozliwosci,
-   z opcja force...
-   sproboj normalnie uruchomic gre

podobnie jak wyjasnilem to wyzej
I zobacz teraz czy bedzie dzialac.

Akurat moje pierwsze kroki w systemie Linux polegały na poruszaniu się w konsoli, więc większych problemów nie powinno to sprawić.
Z tego co pamiętam instalator Doom3 oraz Quake4 robi dowiązania symboliczne...
Ale z katalogu z grą jeszcze nigdy nie uruchamiałem.
Domyślna lokalizacja to /usr/local/games a pliki konfiguracyjne /home/user/ i w zależności od gry .quake4 lub .doom3.
OK. Wypróbuję i napiszę czy był jakiś efekt.
A co do aplikacji driconf.
Będzie ona przydatna? Czy może lepiej odinstalować?

Możliwe żeby biblioteka libgtk-1.2.so.0 miała coś na rzeczy?

Nie wiem, developer gry powinien wiedziec, musialbys w internecie na stronie gry jakis kontakt poszukac i sie ich spytac.

Mozesz tez zainstalowac strace
a potem uruchomic gre w ten sposob
strace -e open quake4
log bedzie dluzszy, pokaze Ci to gdzie i jakie dana gra szuka. ( co probuje otworzyc )
Niestety z mojego doswiadczenia wiem ze to moze nie wystarczec,
czasami program strace pokaze jak program/gra dopiero skorzysta z danej bliblioteki.

Przydaje sie tez czasami
ldd ./nawa_programu
* w tym przypadku nazwa musi plikiem, a nie komenda
 i musi byc w danym miejscu , lub podaje sie sciezke.

Co do owej biblioteki mozesz sprawdzic czy masz zainstalowane
gtk+-1.2.10-76.fc20.i686  , bo yum mowi ze tam ta biblioteka jest.

Zainstalowałem gtk+ i libgtk-1.2.so.0 jest.
Xonotic działa mi bez problemu.
Dlatego ten problem z grami od ID Software mnie zaczyna irytować :/
