Witam!
Zainstalowałem Quake 4 bezproblemowo.
Później w tym samym katalogu (/home/user/games) obok Q4 postanowiłem zainstalować Doom 3.
Uruchomiłem instalator, po instalacji skopiowałem potrzebne pliki razem z plikiem zpak001.pk4 żeby mieć j.polski.
Po uruchomieniu wybieram nową grę, poziom trudności i zamiast rozgrywki pokazuje się czarny ekran:

Proszę o pomoc.

PS: Brak polskiej czcionki, nie jest to brak lenistwa, a jej brak w systemie i brak czasu na reczne poprawki.

Posiłkowałem się właśnie tą instrukcją przy instalacji Dooma 3.

Obawiam się że korzystając z oficjalnego instalatora można mieć Doom 3 w j.angielskim.
W oficjalnym poradniku znalazłem informację aby nie przegrywać do katalogu z grą pliku zpak001.pk4.
A ten plik odpowiada za spolszczenie gry...
Chyba że ktoś zainstalował natywną wersję Doom 3 PL.

W /home/piotrek/.doom3/base/DoomConfig.cfg znalazłem linijki
seta com_videoRam "64"
oraz
seta sys_videoRam "0"
Tylko nie wiem która z nich za co odpowiada :/
A moja karta graficzna ma chyba 512.
W Quake 4 mam takie same wartości, a jednak gra hula, aż miło.

chodzilo mi bardziej o komendy w linkach np.

Jak podobne komendy nie pomoga i nikt nie bedzie wstanie pomoc,
to moze sprobujesz poszukac forum dom 3

Kilka dni temu przywracałem system.
I spóbowałem zainstalować Quake 4.
Jak pisałem w poprzednich postach wcześniej działał, ale teraz... nie.

- Moze robiles ostatnio aktualizacje systemu , w tym rowniez sterownikow ?

 - Zauwazylem kiedys ze Xonotic wykorzystuje podobna kompresje,
ale dziala nawet bez tego, tyle ze mniej wydajnie, w otwartych sterownikach zazwyczaj kompresji nie ma,
 tlumacza sie licencjami.
( wkazdym force_s3tc_ costam zazwyczaj uruchamialo kompresje )

Nie wiem jaki masz system, moze z tych linkow coś Ci pomoze:

Robię aktualizację na bieżąco, ale nie przypominam sobie żebym aktualizował sterowniki do Intela.
Mój system do Fedora 20, środowisko LXDE grafika Intel HD.
Celowo ciągnę ten temat ponieważ już w pierwszym poście wspominałem o Q4, a te gry mają ze sobą dużo wspólnego i wykorzystują ten sam silnik graficzny.
Ze strony:



Pobrałem pakiet Intel(R) Graphics Installer 1.0.5 for Linux.

Generalnie to pomoc nijak Tobie nie moge,
nawet gry takiej nie mam.
  Ale proponuje przetestowac ta kompresje na xonotic.
bash -c "force_s3tc_enable=true /usr/games/xonotic-sdl"
/usr/games/xonotic-sdl musisz zamienic na wlasna sciezke do gry xonotic-sdl lub xonotic-glx costam.
W terminalu bedziesz widzial czy sie wlaczyla "bez" czy "z" kompresja.
Ja kiedys tak wlaczalem gre z stara karta ATI,
ale w wolnej chwili tez moge zobaczyc, bo mam zintegrowana karte graf. Intela.

gre Xonotic pobierzesz z tad

Rozpakowujesz i tam jest jakis plik do uruchomienia xonotic-sdl lub xonotic-glx

( gdybys mial problem z rozpakowaniem .zip mozesz zainstalowac
