Linux Mint 17 + Huawei E3131 - Internet rozłącza się po pewnym czasie

Witam. Mam problem z internetem Aero2 pod najnowszym Linuxem Mint 17 Cinnamon. Po podłączeniu modemu do komputera Network Manager wykrywa modem i sieć, łączy się prawidłowo poprzez kliknięcie wcześniej utworzonego połączenia, internet działa. Po upływie kilku(nastu) minut słyszę dźwięki odłączania urządzenia i z Network Managera znika sekcja Komórkowe. Po chwili słychać dźwięk podłączania, ale w Networka Managerze dalej nie ma sekcji Komórkowe. Zmiana karty na Play dołączoną do modemu, portu USB albo restartu Network Managera poleceniem sudo invoke-rc.d network-manager restart nic nie zmienia.  Oto co wypluło polecenie sudo dmesg:

Pomaga dopiero restart systemu. Na komputerze oprócz Linuxa jest też Windows na którym wszystko działa jak należy. W czym może być problem?

Używam modemu Huawei E3131 z Play.
