Witam, jak w temacie, czyli jak włączyć sprzętową akcelerację obrazu.
Zainstalowałem ostatnio Docky i na górze w prawym rogu pojawił się komunikat ze do poprawnego działania Docky potrzebne jest właczenie akceleracji. Podaje info o sprzęcie i konfiguracji:

Po tym widać że ta akceleracja jest, ale Docky uruchamia się na jakimś czarnym pasku, po zatym zainstalowałem Compiza i także nie ma żadnych efektów.

Zarzuć screena na imgshack i podziel się linkiem, jak to wygląda.
Samo zainstalowanie Compiza niewiele daje. Trzeba jeszcze włączyć odpowiednią funkcję w tym menedżerze Compiz. Jeśli masz Gnome możliwe, że znajduje się to w  System--->Preferencje--->.

Dzięki Twojemu obrazkowi lepiej zrozumiałem, jak wygląda sprawa. W powyższym linku użytkownicy mieli identyczny problem. Temat tam oznaczony jest jako rozwiązany, więc sugeruję zaglądnięcie do niego.

Dzięki serdeczne. Sprawa Docka rozwiązana. Nie mogę tylko znaleźć u siebie tego:
"You need to enable 3D/Compiz / Visual from System->Preferences->Appearence and then the Visual Effects tab." bo u mnie w menu wygląd nie ma tej opcji efekty wizualne i nie działa mi po prostu Compiz.

Prawdopodobnie, żeby móc się bawić w opcjach Compiza, wypada doinstalować pakiet compizconfig-settings-manager czy to z konsoli, czy Synaptika, czy centrum oprogramowania.

Mam zainstalowany Compiz Config Manager, zaznaczyłem w nim kilka opcji i nie działa.
Wiem jak to działa bo miałem to na ubuntu ale tutaj nie daje rady.
