Problem z dzwiekiem. VIA VT82C686

Witam! Ostatnio kupilem sobie laptopa (uzywanego) i chcialem miec na nim KDE. Probowalem zainstalowac Chakre ale instalator nie dal rady. Postanowilem wiec sprobowac Archa. Po dluzszym czasie udalo mi sie skonfigurowac serwer X, juz mam w swoim kompie KDEmod a tu nastepny problem - nie dziala dzwiek.
Odpalilem alsaconf i wszytsko niby ok, zadnych bledow ale dzwieku nadal nie ma.

Ani słowa o wartościach kanałów w alsamikserze?

Poza tematem: na jedną sesję możesz dać setxkbmap -rules xorg -model pc105 -layout "pl", a na rzecz zamrożenia na każdą - poszukać o XkbModel i XkbLayout w xorg.conf. Model klawiatury dopasowujesz oczywiście do własnej.

To znaczy, że ALSA zdaje się nie działać w ogóle (możesz sprawdzić czy załadowane są moduły snd* oraz czy istnieje kat. /proc/asound). A co dmesg powiedział i jaka wersja jądra? Może nowsze jąderka warto przetestować?

Problem roziwązany. ALSA była skonfigurowana poprawnie lecz nie nadałem praw poleceniem:

Z mojej strony dzięki za info: nie wgłębiając się w kod mamy w ten sposób doświadczenie, że tego rodzaju objaw może brać się z braku uprawnień do urządzenia (czyli root powinien otworzyć alsamixer i odpalić dźwięk). Po liście modułów widać, że prócz snd załadowały się też te właściwe dla urządzenia (snd_via82xx).

P.S. Dziwi mnie jednak, że był to komunikat typu "No such file or directory", a nie o braku dostępu. Dość myląca sugestia.
