Witam

Produkuję się już nad tym monitorem któryś dzień z rzędu. Wg wszelkich informacji powinien on obsługiwać rozdzielczość 1440x900px (16:10) jednakże nieważne czego bym próbował maksymalną rozdzielczość jaką potrafię uzyskać to 1360x768@60.

Po kolei. Minimalny xorg.conf, bazuję na pełnej autodetekcji:

Z wymienionych tu rozdzielczości do dyspozycji mam tylko 1360x768_60.00, w przypadku pozostałych monitor wyświetla komunikat "Format nieobsług.".

Pytanie które w zasadzie może być kluczem do sukcesu, wartości:

jeśli nie mam ich w dokumentacji, nie da się znaleźć nawet na stronie producenta można "jakoś" obliczyć? Liczby oczywiście tu są wzięte z kosmosu.

1. To nie jest monitor, tylko telewizor...
2. To, że ma matrycę 1440x900 wcale nie oznacza, że jego elektronika musi taki sygnał przyjmować. Patrz pkt. 1.
3. Spróbowałbym w pierwszym konfigu, w sekcji Screen dopisać opcję Modes:

Ad 1 i 2
Już też nad tym myślałem i w pewnym momencie chciałem się poddać zakładając że tak właśnie jest. Nawet w poprzednim poście chciałem o tym wspomnieć ale jakoś tak wyszło że z tego zrezygnowałem. Im dłużej nad tym siedzę tym bardziej jestem skłonny uznać że po prostu on tej rozdzielczości nie obsłuży.
Tylko szkoda bo wolnego miejsca mam dookoła trochę a przy rozciąganiu obrazu zniekształca go do proporcji 16:10.

Ad3.
Niestety ale sterownik odrzucił tą rozdzielczość, pewnie na podstawie informacji z edid.

Wysłałem zapytanie do pomocy technicznej producenta. Jak nie odpiszą to spróbuje się do nich dodzwonić jutro. Oni powinni rozwiać wątpliwości

W pliku konfiguracyjnym możesz określić fizyczne rozmiary ekranu, na podstawie których sterownik ustawi DPI - teoretycznie powinno być lepiej.

Trzymam kciuki, chociaż wydaje mi się, że szanse niewielkie :-(

Trochę to trwało, z jednej strony z braku czasu, zaś z drugiej... maile wylądowały w spamie i trochę tam poleżały.

Jak twierdzi gościu z pomocy funaia dla tego telewizora nie można osiągnąć rozdzielczości 1440x900 korzystając z wejścia pc.
Szkoda, że nigdzie o tym nie wspominają.
