Jak wymusic rozdzielczosc na LCD?
« dnia: 2008-10-26, 16:39:54 »
Na w stepie przepraszam za brak ogonkow. Nie moge znalezc mapy klawiatury innej niz dvorak :(

Mam problem z rozdzielczoscia otoz spalila mi sie plyta glowna w Samsung SyncMaster 913v.

http://forum.linux.pl/viewtopic.php?id=12538

Witam! Sory za brak aktywności. Nie miałem kiedy wpaść i napisać. Siedzę teraz na ubuntu 8.10 RC. Zrobiłem eksperyment i usunąłem (przeniosłem gdzieś indziej) pliczek xorg.conf i... wszystko działa. X'y nie zwróciły żadnego komunikatu o błędzie. Wszystko działa jak wcześniej.

Standardowa zawartość xorg.conf w ubuntu:
# xorg.conf (X.Org X Window System server configuration file)
#
# This file was generated by dexconf, the Debian X Configuration tool, using
# values from the debconf database.
#
# Edit this file with caution, and see the xorg.conf manual page.
# (Type "man xorg.conf" at the shell prompt.)
#
# This file is automatically updated on xserver-xorg package upgrades *only*
# if it has not been modified since the last upgrade of the xserver-xorg
# package.
#
# Note that some configuration settings that could be done previously
# in this file, now are automatically configured by the server and settings
# here are ignored.
#
# If you have edited this file but would like it to be automatically updated
# again, run the following command:
#   sudo dpkg-reconfigure -phigh xserver-xorg

Section "Device"
Identifier "Configured Video Device"
EndSection

Section "Monitor"
Identifier "Configured Monitor"
EndSection

Section "Screen"
Identifier "Default Screen"
Monitor "Configured Monitor"
Device "Configured Video Device"
EndSection
@chmooreck

Section "Device"
Identifier "Configured Video Device"
Driver      "nv"
EndSection

Section "Monitor"
    Identifier    "Generic Monitor"
    Option        "DPMS"
    HorizSync    30-81
    VertRefresh    56-75
EndSection

Section "Screen"
    Identifier    "Default Screen"
    Device "Configured Video Device"
    Monitor        "Generic Monitor"
    DefaultDepth 24
    SubSection "Display"
        Modes        "1280x1024"
    EndSubSection
EndSection

Skopiowałem kilka linijek do xorg i teraz mam:

no hurra.

Pozwolę sobie wkleić zawartość sterownika (a raczej pliku tekstowego z rozszerzeniem *.inf):

Proponuję na chwilę zakomentować linię z Modes, a w sekcji Monitor wypróbować
Option          "PreferredMode"         "1280x1024@75"

On jednak nie mówi serwerowi o odświeżaniu.

W razie problemów z samym użyciem tych wpisów pomocą służy man xorg.conf.
