Witam, ostatnio wpadłem na pomysł zainstalowania sobie systemu linux, wybór padł na kubuntu, po włożeniu płyty liveCD z kubuntu ,pojawia się menu bootowania , następnie klikam uruchom, pojawia się pasek ładowania systemu, dochodzi do końca, a następnie pojawia się czarny ekran , płyta jeszcze przez chwile się obraca po czym zatrzymuje i nic dalej się nie dzieje. Naciskając klawisze ctr+alt+F1 pokazuje że system zatrzymuje się na ostatnich dwóch wpisach

checking system battery statte..... [ok]
running local boot scripts (/etc/rc. local) [ok]

wiem że płytka jest dobra ponieważ u znajomego uruchamia się normalnie i pojawia się środowisko graficzne, podobnie dzieje się z płytką ubuntu,
specyfikacja mojego komputera jeśli to ma jakieś znaczenie to:
płyta gigabyte nForce4 SLI
karta graficzna gigabyte g-force 6600GT 3D1
procesor AMD64 3200+
2 dyski serial ata
1 GB ram

próbowałem też uruchomić system stosując rady znalezione w necie w podobnym przypadku wybierajac w menu F6 i dopisując parametry noapic nolapic acpi=off, ale niestety dzieje się nadal to samo.

Z góry dziękuje za wszelką pomoc.

Gdy próbuje uruchomić w trybie single, dochodzi do root@ubuntu  następnie daje mu komendę startx po czym znow robi sie czarny ekran i płyta przestaje się obracać po pewnym czasie, ostatnie komunikaty po wciśnięciu alt+ctr+F1 to :

Miałem to samo parę razy właśnie z Ubuntu LiveCD i z Knopixem 4.0. W Ubuntu wystarczyło uruchomić w ,, Trybie Bezpiecznym "" , chociaż ja mam prostą kartę graf. - spróbuj a nuż zadziała. Chociaż komunikat z X-ów budzi moje wątpliwości.
PS. Debian o dziwo działa w każdej konfiguracji, chociaż Ubuntu właśnie z debiana się wywodzi.

Daj może w tagach code wyniki polecenia lspci oraz zawartości /var/log/Xorg.0.log i /etc/X11/xorg.conf.

Dopiero próbuje zacząć swoją przygodę z linuxem, więc nie za bardzo wiem jak uzyskać zawartości /var/log/Xorg.0.log i /etc/X11/xorg.conf., oraz w którym miejscu mam dać to polecenie po uruchomieniu w trybie single?

cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log

cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf

albo lepiej:

cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | less

cat /etc/X11/xorg.conf | less

Może jeszcze być przydatne cat xyz | grep "cośtam" czyli wyszukujesz ciąg cośtam (pisownia celowa) w danym pliku (polecam poczytanie tego co się pokaże po wpisaniu man grep).

Po starcie Ubuntu LiveCD/DVD wciskasz F6 i tam edytujesz linię poleceń jądra.

Miejsce ne ma znaczenia, bo ścieżki są bezwzględne, a jeśli chodzi o czas, to /var/log/Xorg.0.log jest, jak nazwa mówi, logiem po uruchomieniu Xorg. Ale jeśli wczytałbyś przed, to miałbyś log ze starego, nieudanego też, startu Xorg.

polecenie >coś
przekierowuje wynik polecenia do pliku coś.

Albo kopiujesz ten plik na coś przenośnego, albo zostawiasz na miejscu i dostajesz się z dystrybucji live, albo odpalasz przeglądarkę tekstową, np. w3m phpfi.com, i tam ładujesz pliki, a nam dajesz adres www każdego nowo stworzonego wpisu.

Możesz spróbować trzy rzeczy:

1. Wpisanie modprobe nvidiafb przed startx

2.Usunięcie linijki: Option        "UseFBDev"        "true" z pliku /etc/X11/xorg.conf (nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf)

3. Zmiana:

Driver        "nv"

na:

Driver        "vesa"

w pliku /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Najpierw spróbowałem to co podałeś w 3 a potem w 1 punkcie, niestety zawsze kończyło się tak samo czarny ekran i środowisko graficzne się nie ładowało.

Mimo to udało mi się uruchomić Kubuntu ale w ten sposób, że uruchomiłem dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg i w opcjach przy sterownikach nv zmieniłem BUS Id (jeśli tak to się nazywa) z 04:00:00 na 05:00:00 na podstawie lpci i błędu:
 
(WW) VESA: No matching Device section for instance (Bus ID PCI:5:0:0) found

Pomyślałem że spróbuję w ten sposób, nie wiem dlaczego tak działa, ale to chyba zależy od tego że na mojej karcie są dwa procesory graficzne g-force 6600GT i generalnie widzi to jako 2 karty. Pod Bus Id 04 się nie uruchamiał jednak 05 się udało. :)

Dziękuje za pomoc w tej kwestii, niedługo pewnie będę miał pytania dotyczące innych spraw ;)
